The problem: completed designs without the expected slogans
An actual CSV test in Neural Design Lab on 10 October 2026 requested English Christmas designs for several niches. After generation, the operator reported that the images lacked suitable shirt slogans. The first question was whether the image model had omitted requested lettering or whether the stored brief had never asked for it.
This case is based on the CSV supplied by the operator and the terminal output showing stored design ideas and status values. That output contained recurring versions of the same ideas. Account details, private image URLs and internal design numbers are not published here.
How CSV upload works: each data row is read as a separate design brief. In the earlier run, the missing slogans came from the content: the design ideas did not name a slogan, and several additional requests explicitly ruled out lettering. The upload submits the briefs; after generation, inspect whether the image renders the requested wording correctly.
Scope of this historical run: The PNGs from the designs examined at that time and the final image-model prompt are not available here. The six CSV-generated examples below are other designs supplied by the operator.
What the CSV requested and the database stored
The original file used theme;design_idea;style;target_audience;additional_requests;language. Its language setting was en. A language setting does not specify the actual words to print.
Create a cheerful Christmas design for beekeepers: a small beehive wearing a simple evergreen wreath, surrounded by a few bees carrying tiny festive lights.
Original additional requestsKeep the bees friendly and clearly recognizable; use honey gold, deep green, and cream; avoid tiny details, text, brands, and copyrighted characters; transparent background.
The beekeeping idea appeared with the same wording in the stored-design output. It describes an illustration; the additional requests explicitly exclude text. The en setting cannot resolve that contradiction.
| Niche | Additional request | Implication for the brief |
|---|---|---|
| Astronomy | include no lettering | No lettering requested. |
| Pottery | no wording | No words planned for the image. |
| Knitting | no text | Text explicitly excluded. |
What the run establishes — and what it does not
- The brief had been stored. The database output contained the original design ideas, allowing the investigation to start from the actual submitted content.
- Generation had completed. “FERTIG” means completed. It is a technical status, not a judgment of spelling or suitability for apparel.
- The input never specified a slogan. Several CSV rows also prohibited text. The brief therefore did not match the expectation of a lettering-led design.
This establishes a briefing error, not proof that the model would have rendered correct lettering. The stored design ideas alone also do not show whether every additional request reached the image model unchanged. Checking that requires the final generation prompt.
Six designs generated through CSV
The six PNGs below were generated through the Neural Design Lab CSV batch flow. They show three German and three English Christmas designs for different niches. The visible slogan is listed with each result.
| Design | Slogan in the image | Language |
|---|---|---|
| Photography | FOKUS AUF WEIHNACHTEN | German |
| Home office | ARBEITEN IM HO-HO-HOMEOFFICE | German |
| Christmas baking | OMAS WEIHNACHTSPLÄTZCHEN-QUALITÄTSKONTROLLE | German |
| Structural engineering | MAKING SNOW DAYS STRUCTURALLY SOUND | English |
| Software development | DREAMING OF A BUG-FREE CHRISTMAS | English |
| Astronomy | HAVE A STARRY CHRISTMAS | English |

What can be checked from these images: The requested wording is visible in the supplied PNGs. The quality setting, exact original CSV and final image-model prompt are not documented here; print quality and suitability for a specific marketplace have not been confirmed.
Download matching CSV example rows
The original upload CSV for these six images was not included. The UTF-8 file below therefore reconstructs matching briefs from the visible designs and slogans. It demonstrates the CSV format and is not the original upload.

- Each row includes a theme, design idea, style, target audience, additional requests and language.
- In the upload form, check that all six rows are recognized and the preview preserves the slogans.
- A new upload creates new images; it will not necessarily reproduce these PNGs pixel for pixel.
- After generation, compare each visible slogan with the input and check spelling, legibility and PNG transparency.
- For your own test, record the filename, selected quality and actual results so the product case can be traced accurately.
